Rick Allen
Founding brewer/owner
Rick spent 30 years in investments before getting a wild hair and deciding to start a brewery. He enjoys traveling, collecting wine, and even though he’s “mostly” retired, we still let him do the accounting stuff.
Lisa Allen
Head Brewer/owner
After spending several years as a wine vagrant, Lisa decided to settle down and join the family business. She’s had about every job there is to do in a brewery (in fact she’s doing the website!) but her favorite activity is mashing in. If she’s not at the brewery or home she’s probably at The Bitter Monk with Kevin.
Kevin Davey
Director of Operations/Owner
Kevin joined the brewery in March of 2023 and brings experience from almost 15 years in the industry. He has spent time at four different breweries, his longest tenure being at Wayfinder Beer in Portland, OR where he was the founding brew master. Kevin is also credited with creating the “Cold IPA” style.
Patrick Harkins
Global Sales Manager
Patrick joined the brewery in 2013 after spending 10 years in the wine industry on both the sales and production side. He enjoys hiking, traveling, and you will rarely find him with out his sheep-doodle Lottie by his side.
Bruce Drenkhahn
cellar/assistant brewer
Bruce started at Heater Allen in summer of 2023. He spent time on Ecliptic’s packaging line and did sales and deliveries for Wayfinder before joining the team.
